We went down to celebrate Easter with my family in Macclenny. The plan was to leave after lunch on Sunday. It was spring break for my family so Eloise, Emery and I ended up staying on till Friday.
It was great spending this special holiday with family. Easter Sunday was a beautiful day. We were greatly uplifted and spiritually feed by the talks and music at church.
Even though we had our egg hunt on Saturday, Eloise had to hunt eggs again Sunday. She's so cute!
The kiddos got little treats from the Easter Bunny.
Sunday dinner was oh so yummy. Ham, potato salad, beans and corn. Emery had to have some too. He was crawling around the living room begging food off everyone.
We were sad to see Glen leave. The whole week Eloise would randomly ask "Daddy, where are you?" She loved to facetime with him everyday. She also had a blast with her cousins. She followed them everywhere.
Bryn was her BFF. They did back bends, danced, played barbies. Bryn was super sweet to her. Eloise would hug Chapman and Hudson every chance she got.
We spent a lot of time in the Padgett's back yard. Eloise played on the swings, danced, climbed into the fort, jumped on the trampoline, and she had to look through the telescope every time we were out there.

The Staples spent Easter with John's mom. When they got back our buddy Alli came to play. She and Eloise had a dance party in the rain. We had a girl's night and watched Breaking Dawn Part Two. (Alli's a Twihard. She even got a Bella doll from the Easter Bunny.) The girls were Eloise, Alli, Bryn, Mom and me. We had to have girls night part two the next night to watched Breaking Dawn Part One. A little backwards I know. Now Eloise carries the cases to these movies around saying they're hers. Thanks Alli!
Eloise loved hanging out with her Pepa.
Emery was a sweet boy the whole time. The only thing he really wanted to do was EAT. He is an eating machine!
