We had a fun visit to the beach at Calloway Gardens. It was perfectly overcast - not too bright not too hot.
Eloise almost didn't make it to the water for playing with this huge chess set.
The kids had so much fun playing in the sand. Emery had to eat some while we were there.
I didn't get any pictures of them in the water. Too bad because Eloise was having such a good time in it! She would get a scoop of sand and walk chest deep into the water to dump it out. Emery didn't like getting wet at all. (Funny because he loves bath time.) He preferred to play in the sand or watch Eloise in the water. Anytime I even adjusted him on my hip he would tighten his grip on me.
They were pooped by the time we left.
