We had a wonderful Easter this year. It was a little odd not going to church on Easter but hearing the words from our living prophet totally made up for it.
We dyed our eggs on Saturday morning. The kids loved it. It wasn't the smoothest activity. Emery drank some of the blue dye just after I added the dye to the vinegar. I'm sure that was tasty! Ezra was grabbing everything so I put him in his high chair with some toys and he cried the rest of the time. Eloise was super sweet the whole time. Though she only let Emery have two colors. He didn't seem to care or know it was happening.
Easter morning the kids were so excited to see what the Easter Bunny had brought them. They were very happy with the treats he brought them.
Even though we weren't going to church I dressed them all up for pictures. It wasn't an easy task to get decent pictures of these three but we got a couple good ones.
After picture they were off to hunt eggs!
We had such a great Easter. Even though the kids had fun dying and hunting eggs, getting treats from the Easter Bunny we know the true reason for this wonderful holiday. The resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ. I feel his love in my life and have felt his healing grace. He lives! And because he lives I will live again too.
