Our Emery man is five months old! How is he almost half a year old? It seems like he was just born.
Emery is sitting up! I don't worry about him falling over anymore either. He eventually does fall but it's usually when he's reaching for something too far away or looking up at me. He getting better at catching himself.
He has found his toes. He likes to hang on to them and he even chews on them too!
We started feeding him rice cereal this past month. He loves it! Especially when I mix apple sauce in it. If only it wasn't so messy! He grabs for the spoon and after every spoonful he's putting his bib or fingers in his mouth.
When he gets excited he flaps his arms.
Emery loves to chew his fingers. They are always in his mouth. He even tries to sneak them in when he's nursing. Silly boy!
We got Emery a white noise machine and he is sleeping better in his bed. I can just lay him down awake for his naps - if he hasn't put himself to sleep in his jumper first. There are still nights where he's up far too much (like last night) but it is getting better.
He loves to talk. His favorite sound lately is the "g" sound. When he's not "g" away he's squealing. He is so loud!
Emery's getting up on his hands and knees more and more. He really seems to like doing "push-ups." He gets higher and higher everyday. You can see him focus hard on a toy and try these new tricks to get to it. Most of the time he scoots himself backward instead of forward. He's close to figuring it out.
This little guy is such a sweetie. I love his sweet smile and his laugh is the best. I love to watch him learn new things every day. I'm one lucky mommy!
