Our little man is 8 months old!
Ezra is such a little explorer. He gets into everything! If there is a door open he goes through it, a paper on the floor he destroys it, a bin full of toys he dumps it. He especially loves to destroy the train table. It drives Emery (and me) crazy.
He will not stay away from the stairs. I've figured out a way to get a gate up but he takes full advantage of those times I forget to put it up. Last time I forgot to put the gate up I found him at the top! He's quick going up those stairs.
He is cruising really well. He's gotten good at walking along with something if it starts to move. He's gotten a bit too confident in his ability to pull up and move around. The other day he tried to grab my skirt but didn't grab hold of it and went straight through it banging his face on a chair rail, giving himself a black eye.
He waves and claps.
He loves to see the buses in the morning. He gets so excited when they pass and super excited when Eloise's bus stops to pick her up. He gives the bus driver and helper big waves.
Ezra loves to have his teeth brushed. He smiles and giggles the whole time.
Ezra can stand on his own. It only lasts a few seconds and he's not confident in it at all. Once he realizes he's not holding something he either grabs what he's standing by or lowers himself to the floor. The other day I saw him stand on his own and lift a foot off the floor.
He's staring to grind his four little teeth.
He's still not sleeping through the night. I'm not sure what to do to get him to sleep better. He's still waking 2 to 3 times a night. I hate to let him cry it out but when I go to him all he wants is to nurse. I made him so mad the other night trying to give him a pacifier. I can't remember what a full nights sleep feels like.
His hair is getting thicker and it's really light. I thought he'd be a brunette but it's looking pretty blond so far.

Ezra is still the sweetest thing. He can't help but smile at everyone he meets.
We love this guy so very much.
